Grace to run, run to grace others

God gives us grace so we can give his grace to others.  That’s why my friend and I met over cups of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee last night to talk about the logistics of a run to raise money for impoverished people in third world countries.

The concept: start running at midnight and don’t stop until dawn. In terms of miles run, that comes out to about 35-40 miles. The plan is to start at 12:00 a.m on June 9 and run from Chester, NH, across Southeastern New Hampshire to the sea coast and then up the coastal high way to Portsmouth, NH.

Donations will go to sustainability projects funded through a non-profit called World Vision. We want to raise enough money to provide a clean water well or enough farm animals for 10 people.

If you’re interested in donating to this cause, we plan to have a donor website set up in the next few weeks and I’ll publicize it through this blog.  In the meantime, you can give directly to World Vision.
